- This is an opportunity for the Millennial's so they can realize that they do want to retire at a decent age or even an early age. To thrive right now baby boomers have to have multiple incomes, but if Millennial's can figure it out they won't have to do that when it's time for them to retire. The customer they're targeting is the Millennial's because it's almost too late for the baby boomers. I believe this opportunity is easy if you start it right, start when you're young and get in the habit of having a 401 K it'll be easier in the long run.
- I believe I saw this opportunity because I know so many people in my life that should be retired by their age but they simply can't because they can't make it money wise. There is always a way to make money I believe you just have to figure out how you can make money fast, or how you can make money doing what you love. It's your choice.

- This is an opportunity for anyone who is willing to help. This earth affects everyone, so we should all take care of it. I would say younger generations have more of an opportunity to help because ideally they'll be on this earth longer but that doesn't mean the older generations can't pitch in and help.
- I saw this opportunity because this problem is getting so large something needs to be done about it. Companies are getting better with switching from plastic straws to paper but we need to push getting rid of plastic more. I work as a server and so many straws just get thrown out without anybody even touching them, and the turtles are the ones suffering because of our choices.

- This is an opportunity for anyone who has access to the internet. Net Neutrality basically says that the internet service providers should treat all internet communications equally.and not charged extra for certain websites, or platforms.
- I saw this opportunity because now a days most people can't live without internet so it's becoming a huge part of everyone's life. Net neutrality essentially will have an impact on everyone using it, if they start charging for every little thing
Regulatory trend: More Aggressive Copper Retirement Rules

- This is an opportunity for people retiring in these companies such as Verizon and AT&T. When having these people retire within 90 days instead of 180 makes it easier on the company plus it saves them money in the long run so it seems like a win win for everyone.
- I saw this opportunity because I've known some people who have run into this problem and although it doesn't affect everyone, it is a problem that needs to be faced and fixed.

ReplyDeleteSome of your articles were interesting and opportunities I have considered. I found the baby boomers retirement interesting which I have included too in my post. I think baby boomers are afraid that they will no have enough money for retirement since the standard of living in the country has steadily increased. Climate change has always been a problem but has increased in the past years. I remember in middle and early high school there were no server hurricane days. Now hurricanes are destroying homes and more hurricane days have to be considered when planning for academic school year calendar.

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading and learning about all of your articles. The one article that I found to be particularly interesting is about the baby boomers not retiring. I found this to be interesting because I know there are a lot of problems right now regarding baby boomers. For example, since there are so many baby boomers in our population, when they pass it’ll drastically change our population. I did not know that baby boomers were struggling to make money and that is why they were not retiring. It goes to show the unfortunate condition our economy is in. However, I am confused as to how this would be an opportunity because baby boomers are very old.

ReplyDeleteI also believe that there is opportunity in Net Neutrality and thought it was interesting that you chose to write about this one, because it would not have immediately occured to me that there could be an opportunity in something being taken away. Since Net Neutrality will have an impact on everyone who uses the internet, this could provide a large target audience.
